The business raises funds for a range of voluntary organisations, charities and campaigning groups primarily by the provision of bars, welfare and other services at outdoor events in Scotland and elsewhere.

 

The guiding principle is the ethical business and working relationship with its members, volunteers, contractors  and customers.

 

Scottish Ethical Events felt that it was important to mark Bill's life with an event and together with his family (his daughter Jaki is also a founding member of Scottish Ethical Events) have organised Billfest, A Night For Bill.
